This calculator is simple but very useful. When changing springs most people use a trial and error method to reset the sag. This calculator saves you the headache. Simply input the spring you were using, along with the preload, and the measured total sag. Then input the new spring rate, along with the same sag number. The calculator will generate the amount of preload you need to use to keep the sag the same.
